Sabrina contributed to the registration of 3 lakh voters in the US elections
Sabrina Carpenter has successfully registered 35,814 voters in this year’s US elections. Additionally, she has played a significant role in the registration of 263,087 voters. According to a report by Variety, Sabrina has directly aided in the registration of nearly 300,000 voters.
Headcount, a non-profit organization focused on engaging musicians in the US democratic process, highlights that Sabrina has made the most substantial contribution to voter registration as a solo artist in this election cycle.
Among this year’s standout artists, another singer has also helped register 27,000 new voters. The ‘Ekpresso’ singer’s popular tour, ‘Short and Sweet,’ has significantly impacted voter engagement, with the 25-year-old American artist encouraging her fans to vote through her performances.
Variety’s report also notes that Ariana Grande, another prominent singer, has made considerable efforts to inspire voter participation in this election.
Sabrina Carpenter is currently one of the most celebrated singers, having shattered numerous records with her hit song ‘Espresso.’ Recently, she was recognized in ‘Time 100 Next 2024,’ a prestigious list by Time magazine.
Since its release on April 11, ‘Espresso’ has topped charts in 20 countries, including the United States, and became the first song to achieve one billion streams on Spotify. She also won the Song of the Year award at the MTV Video Music Awards for this track, while her other song, ‘Please Please Please,’ has also dominated the charts.
